I have stopped watching movies online years back and developed a habit of watching it on big screens or televisions. But after seeing the overwhelming response for the movie ‘Dil Bechara’, that too from the Tamil Rajini fans, I decided to watch it. Thanks to Hotstar for making it available to even the non-subscribers, as a tribute to Sushant.  The movie starts with the narration of Kizie Basu, the heroine of the movie, about how boring her life is to be a sufferer of thyroid cancer who has to carry an oxygen cylinder always to keep her breathing, while oxygen is freely available to many others, and they even tend to forget an activity called breathing most of the times. A dialogue in her narration says that how she is being advised by many to be more strong and she raises a question that why she should be extra strong and why can’t she be normal. Astitva meaning identity is one of many films that had created a deep impact on me, especially the climax, about which I would like to share in this article. The movie is a bilingual movie released in both Hindi and Marathi languages in the year 2000. Sachin Khedekar plays the male lead while the main lead is the female character played by Tabu. It also casts Mohnish Bahl, Sunil Barve, Namrata Shirodkar, etc. The movie is written and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The movie deals with the intensity of relationships and its pros and cons as created by the situations and circumstances.
